None of us would let a stranger inside our home without an assurance that he is trustworthy, so why would we let an unknown window cleaner into our homes? Your safety and that of your property should be your #1 consideration when choosing a window cleaning company.

Before choosing a window cleaning contractor, make sure that your contractor has a verified reputation in your community. Ask your window cleaner to provide local references or testimonials. Choosing a contractor that is backed by an established company will also help guarantee a high level of accountability.

1. First and foremost is the company licensed and insured?
Eye Do Windows carries an Alabama State license, as well as individual licenses for the following cities – Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Foley, Elberta, Magnolia Springs, and Fairhope. We also have a $2,000,000 liability insurance policy. Any of these documents can be provided upon request. Most companies that price cleanings dramatically cheaper do NOT carry this, which is usually why they can price a lot less.

2.   How long has the company been in business?
We’ve been in business since 2006.

3.  Do employees undergo criminal background checks and drug testing?
All our employees are required to pass a background check, as well as a drug screen before employment is offered. NO employee is offered employment until these steps are taken. This is to help keep the work environment more safe and professional.

4. Do they have the right equipment for the job?
You can tell a lot about a service provider by the equipment they use and how they treat their tools. We use a state of the art process called deionized water.  When water is deionized,  minerals are removed, giving you streak-free, sparkling clean windows. What really makes this process unique, is that deionization essentially turns water into a magnet for dirt and grime, eliminating the need toxic chemical cleansers. By using our specialized tools, we will clean window frames and surrounds as part of the process, so you get additional cleaning. Our water-fed poles can safely reach difficult places – even up to 4 stories high, typically without the need of ladders or lifts.

5.  How often should I get my windows cleaned?
We recommend at least having exterior windows cleaned at the minimum 6 months to prevent any mineral deposits and other build up on the windows. Customers that live on the water should consider doing every 3 months since they are at risk for hard water stains.

6. Do you have a quality guarantee?
Eye Do Windows guarantees the quality of its workmanship and attention to detail with every window cleaning job.  In the unlikely situation of you being unsatisfied with the window cleaning work, please contact us within two days of the job being completed so that it can be rectified straight away, at no additional cost.

7. Can you provide customer references?
A window cleaner that provides excellent customer service will have a long following of happy customers. Ask your window cleaner if he is able to provide references from satisfied customers.
